Marc-Andre Fleury News
Fleury will start Monday afternoon in Buffalo.

Fleury allowed one goal on 30 shots in the Golden Knights overtime win in Minnesota on Saturday. It was a much better game than the season opener, when he was yanked after allowing five goals on 16 shots. He makes for a great start this afternoon vs. a below-average Sabres team.

Fleury will start the Golden Knights season opener.

It is still hard to believe what the Vegas Golden Knights were able to accomplish in their first season. Marc-Andre Fleury was on-fire when healthy, posting a 2.24 GAA and .927 SV% in 46 appearances. Entering the 2018-19 season, Vegas likely won’t repeat last year’s efforts but Fleury should remain in the No.1 fantasy netminder conversation as long as he is healthy.

Fleury will start Game 1 vs. the Kings.

Fleury was pulled in his final start of the regular season, but had an excellent year and will be key in the Golden Knights postseason success. Fleury, who has well documented postseason struggles, might be more comfortable as a playoff underdog rather than Stanley Cup favourite. Fleury was 1-0-1 with a 2.37 GAA and .931 SV% in two games against the Kings this season.
