He draws a tough assignment tonight vs. the visiting Capitals, who come in having won eight of their last 10 (8-1-1).

It was an exceptional return to the crease for the veteran netminder, who will get a shot at his former team tonight in Vegas. Fleury has been great in his first five starts in a Golden Knights uniform, going 3-1-1 with a 2.35 GAA and .930 SV%. Tonight will be a special night for him but it is a tough matchup.

Fleury has been outstanding to start his Golden Knights career, winning each of his first three starts while stopping 103 of 107 pucks (.963 SV%). He will look to extend his winning streak to four tonight as he takes on a Red Wings team that is subpar and coming in on a back-to-back.

Fleury dazzled in his first week with the Golden Knights, earning Second Star of the Week honours from the NHL. Fleury is 2-0-0 with a 0.98 GAA and .973 SV% to start the 2017-18 season and tonight he gets another crack at the Coyotes in the Vegas home opener.

Fleury has carried a 2.58 GAA and .912 SV% across his lengthy NHL career but will likely struggle in his first season with Vegas because the team in front of him needs a lot of work.
