Borowiecki and his wife are expecting a baby soon so he stayed back in Ottawa while Andreas Englund was recalled from Binghamton (AHL) and travelled to Winnipeg. Expect Borowiecki to be back in the lineup when the Senators host the Coyotes next Thursday.

Borowiecki missed the last two games with the flu but was on the ice for Monday's practice and will be back in the lineup on Tuesday. Borowiecki has a career-high 16 points (5G / 11A) in 43 games while averaging 2.22 blocked shots and 4.0 hits per game.

Borowiecki missed the morning skate and was listed as a game-time decision in Detroit, but is not on the ice for warmups so look for Cody Goloubef to play on the third pair.

Borowiecki missed Thursday's practice with the flu and is questionable for Friday's game in Detroit. The Senators will get Ron Hainsey back on Friday but Cody Goloubef will remain in the lineup if Borowiecki can't go.

Despite being listed as questionable, all signs are pointing towards Borowiecki not playing on Thursday. He missed the morning skate and Erik Brannstrom was recalled to make his NHL debut, presumably in Borowiecki’s spot.

Borowiecki stayed in Ottawa to undergo an MRI on his foot. The Senators have been playing withs seven defensemen as of late so they can elect to dress Cody Golubef as the seventh or Darren Archibald up-front and got back to 12 forwards, six defensemen.

Borowiecki suffered a hamstring injury in Carolina on Friday and missed Saturday’s game in St. Louis but will draw back into the lineup on Tuesday night. Borowiecki is a wrecking ball and only carries value in hits leagues.

Borowiecki was forced to leave Friday’s game in Carolina with a lower-body injury and will be replaced by Ben Harpur on Saturday.

Borowiecki has been out since November 21st but will be back in the Senators lineup after a 12-game absence. Borowiecki is expected to dress as a seventh defenseman with Ryan Dzingel (arm) listed as a game-time decision.

Borowiecki will miss his second straight game with an undisclosed injury, which means Ben Harpur will remain in the lineup. Borowiecki is day-to-day and is questionable to Tuesday’s game in Philadelphia as well.

Borowiecki missed Tuesday’s game with an upper-body injury, but will draw back in vs. the Golden Knights. Borowiecki has no points, a minus-4 rating and 28 PIMS in 10 games this season.

Borowiecki has been in and out of the Senators lineup recently because of suspensions, but tonight he will sit due to an upper-body injury.

Borowiecki was suspended for one game for elbowing Bruins’ defenseman Urho Vaakanainen on Tuesday. Vaakanainen was forced to leave the game with a concussion and did not return. Christian Wolanin has been called-up to take Borowiecki’s spot.

Borowiecki was expected to play before their bye week but never made it into the lineup. The 28-year-old will be playing his first game since November 19th and is expected to be paired with Thomas Chabot.

Borowiecki has been out since November 19th but took part in the Senators morning skate and is listed as a game-time decision tonight vs. Chicago. Borowiecki would likely replace Johnny Oduya, who is dealing with an injury of his own.
