The Winnipeg Jets announced on Monday morning that they’ve come to terms with their 2011 first round pick on a three-year, entry-level deal.
As one of the better offensive players during the preseason, Scheifele signs his entry-level contract. Scheifele scored 22 goals and 75 points in 66 games with the Barrie Colts of the OHL. Expect at least a nine-game tryout with the big club.
