In his first two starts against Anaheim, Jones has gone 1-1-0 with a 3.47 GAA and .841 SV%.

It was about as bad of a game as you could have to close out a fantasy week but Jones will get a chance to bounce-back tonight in Minnesota. Jones allowed two goals on 24 shots in the Sharks win over the Devils on Monday. Jones has been solid in his last four starts, going 3-1-0 while allowing just seven goals on 135 shots (.948 SV%). The one loss came to the Stars, who he’ll face again tonight—this time in San Jose. Jones is 8-2-2 with a 2.67 GAA and .905 SV% on home-ice this season.

He is a great option with the Devils in town on the tail-end of a back-to-back—New Jersey has lost seven of their last eight (1-3-4).

Jones has turned away 79 of 81 shots (.975 SV%) in those contests and will start four the fourth straight time on Friday. In his first start against the Stars, Jones allowed four goals on 22 shots in a 4-3 loss.

The win snapped a four-game losing streak for Jones, who comes into Wednesday’s home-game at 6-2-2 with a 2.90 GAA and .894 SV% at SAP Center. Tonight he takes on a Hurricanes team that leads the NHL in shots per game (38.7) but 29th in goals per game (2.50).

As poor as he’s been this month, he is 6-2-1 on home-ice and faces a team that just fired their coach, so they’re obviously not playing good hockey right now.
