Jones draws a strong matchup tonight vs. Anaheim—the Ducks are 2-3-1 and have averaged just 2.33 goals per game to start the year.

It was Jones’ worst performance of the season and he comes in on a two-game losing streak while allowing a combined eight goals on 47 shots (.830 SV%) in those starts. He draws a solid matchup tonight against Red Wings team that played last night.
Jones gave up five goals on 27 shots in the Sharks’ 7-4 loss to the Rangers on Monday. He was given Tuesday night off, but will be back in goal tonight in Pittsburgh. Jones is 2-1-0 with a 2.68 GAA and .896 SV% to start the 2016-17 season and faces a Penguins team who is sitting at 2-1-1 with 2.25 goals for per game in four games so far.
Jones allowed two goals on 28 shots in the Sharks’ win in Columbus on Saturday. Jones has won each of his first two starts while stopping 47 of 50 shots (.940 SV%). Jones has enjoyed a great start to the year and tonight he will run into a Rangers team that has started the year 1-1-0 while averaging 3.50 goals per game so far.
Jones made 21 save on 22 shots in the Sharks’ win over the Kings on opening night. It was a nice start to the season for Jones, who is out to prove that 2015-16 wasn’t a fluke. He has a good chance to start 2016-17 off 2-0-0 as he takes on the Blue Jackets in Columbus tonight. Jones was 22-7-3 with a 2.20 GAA and .925 SV% on the road last year.
Jones’ first season as the Sharks’ starter was a success. The 26-year-old won 37 games while posting a 2.27 GAA and .918 SV% in 65 games and enters 2016-17 with massive expectations. He was a No.2 option coming into last year, but is a clear-cut No.1 fantasy option this year. Jones will start the year against Los Angeles, who he was 3-1-1 with a 2.57 GAA and .913 SV% against last year.

Jones has been better on the road than at home this season, so it wasn’t overly surprising to see him go into Los Angeles and steal games one and two. Jones has stopped 47 of 51 shots (.922 SV%) through two games and tonight he faces L.A in San Jose, where he was 15-16-1 with a 2.33 GAA and .909 SV% this year.
Jones was pushed by James Reimer down the stretch, but will start Game 1 against his former team. Jones ranked third in the NHL in wins (37) this season while posting a 2.27 GAA, .918 SV% and six shutouts. He started five games against the Kings, going 3-1-1 with a 2.57 GAA and .913 SV%. He has appeared in two NHL playoff games, but this will be his first career playoff start.
