Pacioretty (undisclosed) will be a game-time decision for Game 2.

Pacioretty was not on the ice for Tuesday's morning skate, so it seems unlikely that he will be available for Game 2 but calling him a game-time decision at least keeps the possibility open. After being shut out in Game 1, the Golden Knights could certainly use Pacioretty's services in Game 2.

Pacioretty (undisclosed) will not play on Wednesday.

Pacioretty will be scratched for a second straight game on Wednesday, meaning Mattias Janmark will remain in the top-6 and Peyton Krebs will remain in the lineup. Pacioretty's injury is not believed to be serious, so holding him out is likely more precautionary.

Pacioretty missed the entire round-robin but joined the Golden Knights in the bubble in Edmonton over the weekend and should be in the lineup for Game 1 on Tuesday. Pacioretty had a terrific 2002 season, scoring 32 goals with 34 assists (66 points) in 71 games.

Pacioretty did not travel to Edmonton with his team.

Pacioretty is battling what was described as a "minor" injury but staying back in Vegas for now makes it seem a little more serious. Head coach Pete DeBoer said that Pacioretty will join the team when he is "healthy and available" but there's no indication how long that will be.
