Milan Lucic News
The Kings have acquired Milan Lucic from the Bruins for Martin Jones, Colin Miller and the 13th overall pick.

Lucic, 27, had one of the worst seasons of his NHL career last year. The 6-foot-3, 228 lbs. hard-nosed forward had just 44 points (18G / 26A) in 81 games after averaging 60.6 points per season in his previous three full seasons. A change of scenery might do Lucic some good and he should fit in perfectly with the Kings.

Lucic (illness) is on his way to New York; expected to play tonight vs. the Rangers.

Lucic was not on the ice for the Bruins morning skate because he didn’t travel with the team yesterday. Lucic must be feeling better because he is on his way to the Big Apple and is expected to be in the lineup tonight. Lucic had four goals and six assists (10 points) in 12 games in January.

Bruins Coach Claude Julien mixed up his line in practice Sunday dropping Lucic to the third line. Brad Marchand was moved to Lucic's spot alongside Krejci and Horton, and Daniel Paille was moved to Marchand's spot with Bergeron and Seguin.

Juiien said it was time for a shakeup since the Bruins have only scored 6 goals in the past 4 games.
