Tampa Bay has signed Mitchell Chaffee to a one-year, two-way contract worth $775,000 AAV.
Chaffee had five goals, two assists, eight PIMs and a +8 plus/minus in a short 10 games showing with Iowa (AHL) in 2022-23 and has signed a one-year, two-way contract worth $775,000 AAV with Tampa Bay. The 25-year-old right-winger made his NHL debut in 2021-22 with Minnesota, where he failed to pick up a point in two games.

Chaffee will make his NHL debut on Tuesday.
Chaffee was an undrafted free agent out of UMass-Amherst, who has scored 22 goals with 15 assists (37 points) in 45 games with Iowa (AHL) this season. Chaffee will draw into the lineup on Tuesday with both Tyson Jost and Jordan Greenway still unavailable and Marcus Foligno moved into COVID-19 protocol on Monday.
The Wild signed Mitchell Chaffee to a two-year, entry-level contract.
Chaffee was an undrafted free agent who just finished his junior season at UMass-Amherst. He finished the year second on the team with 29 points (16G / 13A) in 30 games.
