


Cousins is expected to miss at least a couple of weeks with a lower-body injury. Eeli Tolvanen will likely move back up with Ryan Johansen and Cole Smith was recalled from Milwaukee (AHL) and should suit up on the fourth line on Tuesday.

Cousins is the latest Predators player to be added to the COVID-19 protocol list and will not be available on Thursday. The Predators will likely have to play a player short unless they recall another forward from Milwaukee (AHL).

Cousins has missed the last four games with an upper-body injury but practiced fully with the Predators in Montreal for the past two days and should play Saturday. Cousins has one goal and two assists in 12 games this season.

Cousins is week-to-week with an upper-body injury that he suffered on Sunday vs. the Blackhawks. He was moved to IR to open up a roster spot to recall Mathieu Olivier.





Cousins will be on his fourth team in three years but has turned into a reliable third-line winger in recent years. Cousins has chipped in 27 and 25 points in each of the last two seasons and should have similar production in Nashville.



Cousins will play on the third line with Chandler Stephenson and Nicolas Roy. He joins his new team with 22 points (9G / 13A) in 58 games this season, including four power-play points (2G / 2A).

Cousins was not on the ice for the Golden Knights morning skate because he is having issues with his visa coming from Canada. Vegas skated with 11 forwards, leaving a spot open for Cousins to skate with Chandler Stephenson and Nicolas Roy on the third line. Consider Cousins as a game-time decision.

Cousins was an effective bottom-6 forward for the Canadiens this season, posting 22 points (9G / 13A) in 58 games while playing just 13:28 ATOI. In Vegas, he'll help fill a void left by Alex Tuch's injury and should be a third line winger moving forward.

Cousins had 27 points (7G / 20A) in 81 games with the Coyotes last year and signed a one-year, $1.0M AAV deal with the Canadiens this summer. Cousins will make his Montreal debut on the fourth line with Nate Thompson and Nick Suzuki.

Cousins has not played in the first two games of the season and suffered a back injury in Monday’s practice. Cousins will not travel to Buffalo for Wednesday’s game, so expect their lineup to remain the same from Saturday’s win in Toronto.


Cousins has been out of the lineup for the last five games but will replace Zac Rinaldo tonight vs. the Lightning. Cousins has recorded just three goals and one assist (four points) in 23 games this season.
