Pavelec allowed four goals on 32 shots in the Jets loss to the Islanders on December 31st. Michael Hutchinson has started five of the last six games, but Pavelec will start on Thursday in Arizona. It is a nice matchup to get Pav back in the crease. He won his only other start against the Coyotes—he is also 5-3-2 with a 1.96 GAA and .929 SV% on the road.

Pavelec gave up four goals on 23 shots in the Jets loss to the Flyers on December 21st. Michael Hutchinson has started the last three games, but Pavelec will get back between the pipes tonight vs. the Islanders. In Pav’s first start vs. the Isles, he allowed three goals on 21 shots in a 4-3 win back in October.

The Jets goalie rotation will continue, so Pavelec will be in goal vs. the Flyers, who are coming off of a 7-4 win over the Maple Leafs last night. The Flyers are as inconsistent of a hockey team as you will find in the NHL, so it is hard to predict what kind of matchup this is for Pavelec.

Pavelec allowed four goals on 25 shots in the Jets 4-3 OT loss to the Ducks on Sunday. Despite Michael Hutchinson getting the win on Tuesday, Pavelec will start tonight in Colorado. Pav stopped 22 of 23 shots in a 2-1 OT win in his first start vs. the Avalanche this season.

Pavelec allowed two goals on 24 shots in the Jets win over the Oilers on Wednesday. He has won each of his last two starts while allowing just three goals on 44 shots (.932 SV%). Today he gets the call in goal vs. a Ducks team who have won three in a row, but will be without Corey Perry.

Pavelec allowed three goals on 28 shots in the Jets loss to the Blues on Sunday. He has lost his last five starts with an ugly 3.33 GAA and .884 SV%. Michael Hutchinson has badly outplayed him lately, so Pavelec better get back on track vs. the Sabres or he's going to be in danger of losing his job.

Pavelec was pulled after he allowed three goals on 11 shots in a loss to the Wild on Sunday. He was given Tuesday night off, but will get back in the cage tonight vs. the Red Wings. Pav enters play tonight at 3-2-1 wit ha 1.85 GAA and .940 SV% in November. The matchup isn’t great, but it could be worse.
