Danault was back in the Canadiens lineup on Saturday but was hurt after taking a high-stick in the face. Danault has been ruled out for tonight’s game in Columbus and is not expected to play vs. the Stars either. Nikita Scherbak is expected to draw in and take his spot in the lineup.
Danault (concussion) is not ready to return to the Montreal lineup on Wednesday.
Danault (concussion) is expected to travel with the team for their upcoming four-game road trip.
Danault has been cleared to practice and was skating with the top line Monday morning. Claude Julien said Danault could possibly return later in the road trip, but he remains without a definite timetable.

Danault, 23, is a former first round pick (26th overall in 2011), who was traded to the Canadiens last year. He spent the first 30 games of the year wit the Blackhawks, where he had five points (1G / 4A) and added another five points (3G / 2A) in 21 games following the trade. He should find himself on the Habs’ third line in 2016-17.
The Canadiens have acquired Phillip Danault and a 2018 2nd round pick for Dale Weise and Tomas Fleischmann.
Danault, 23, was the 26th overall pick in 2011 and has appeared in 30 of his 33 career NHL games this season, collecting one goal and fourth assists. The centre is a Quebec native heading home.

Danault, 21, failed to register a point in either of his first two NHL games. His return to the AHL means that Andrew Shaw must be ready to go on Wednesday in Colorado. Danault has 10 points (3G / 7A) in 14 games with Rockford.
