Carpenter missed the last eight games but will replace Brandon Pirri on the Golden Knights’ third-line on Tuesday. Carpenter has four goals and nine assists (13 points) in 49 games this season.
Carpenter was hurt Tuesday in Tampa Bay and will be replaced by Tomas Nosek on Thursday.
Carpenter missed Wednesday’s game with the flu, but will draw back in for Tomas Hyka on Friday. Carpenter has picked up just one assist and 10 shots on goal in eight games so far this season.
Carpenter is expected to come out of the Golden Knights’ lineup in Game 5 with David Perron drawing back in. This will likely be the last you see of Carpenter, because should Vegas win and extend the series, you have to assume they will stick with the same lineup.
Carpenter has been a healthy scratch for the last two games, but will replace Daniel O’Regan in the lineup tonight in Florida. Carpenter has yet to record a point in 12 games with the Sharks this season.
Carpenter was back in the lineup last night in Boston after sitting for two straight games and has totalled four points (2G / 2A) in 11 games with the Sharks. He returns to the Barracuda where he has registered 20 points (8G / 12A) in 29 games this season.
