Scott Clemmensen News
Clemmensen may start against the Jets on Thursday, but if not, he’s sure to get a start when the Panthers have four games in six days during Thanksgiving week.

Keep your eye out for a Clemmensen sighting within the next couple of games. He will be making his 2011-2012 debut.

The Panthers had a full crew at morning skate today, including goalie Scott Clemmensen (knee surgery) and forward Sean Bergenheim (core). Clemm will most likely head to San Antonio in about a week to get some game action in and then it’s decision time for the Panthers brass.

Clemmensen probably lost all of his fantasy hockey value with the emergence of Jacob Markstrom. If you roster him, feel safe dumping the veteran backup.

Goalie Scott Clemmensen (knee) will remain home and face live shooting for the first time since his preseason knee surgery.

Clemmensen will be the team's backup when he does return to the lineup. Last season he only won eight of his 31 appearances, but posted a respectable 2.62 GAA and .911 SV% with one shutout.

Scott Clemmensen, who had his first procedure on his right knee on Monday after two previous operations on his left knee, including one this summer, was on crutches at morning skate in Coral Springs.

Again, not good news for Clemmensen, who was expected to battle Jose Theodore for the starting goalie gig. The 34-year-old veteran posted a respectable 8-11-7 record with a 2.62 GAA and .911 SV% over 31 games last season. Look for Tyler Plante to take his role as the team's backup.
