Oshie is out indefinitely with an upper-body injury suffered in Game 4.

Unfortunately for the Capitals, it sounds like Oshie is going to be sidelined for a long period of time and will likely miss the rest of the playoffs, regardless of how deep they go. Oshie was hurt following a hard hit from Hurricanes’ winger Warren Foegele in Game 4. Devante Smith-Pelly has been recalled from Hershey (AHL) and will replace Oshie in the lineup for Game 5.

Oshie will be “re-evaluated” after suffering an upper-body injury on Sunday; questionable for Monday’s game in Los Angeles.

Oshie was forced to leave Sunday’s game with an upper-body injury after playing just 7:10 TOI and his status for Monday’s game remains in question. Head coach Todd Rierden said that he doesn’t think Oshie will be out long-term but that he will be re-evaluated on Monday. It seems highly unlikely that Oshie will suit up but monitor his status as puck-drop draws near.

Oshie (concussion) will be back in the Capitals lineup on Tuesday.

Oshie has missed the last 11 games with a concussion but will play Tuesday vs. the Red Wings. Oshie has a chance to get on the scoresheet right away as he will skate on the right wing with Nicklas Backstrom and Alex Ovechkin. So far this season, Oshie has scored nine goals with five assists (14 points) in 18 games.

Oshie is being evaluated for a possible concussion.

Oshie was forced to leave Monday’s game in Winnipeg after a heavy collision in the corner with Jets’ defenseman Josh Morrissey. Oshie’s head was driven to the ice after the hit and he came up a bit woozy. Oshie has four reported concussions in his career, so the Capitals will be very cautious with the winger. Oshie is questionable at the very least for Friday’s game in Colorado.
