Zajac (undisclosed) is not expected to e in the lineup on Friday.

Zajac left Thursday’s game in the first period and will not play tonight vs. the Flyers because of an undisclosed injury. With Zajac out, either Sergey Kalinin and Bobby Farnham to get back into the lineup.

Zajac was on the ice for the Devils’ gameday skate but will be held out of the lineup tonight vs. San Jose. With Zajac out, Tuomo Ruutu will play and Sergey Kalinin is expected to centre the top line with Michael Cammalleri and Jordin Tootoo.

Zajac missed Tuesday’s practice, but it looks like he will be one of a handful of players to skate this morning. His availability for the optional morning skate is a good sign that Zajac will be available tonight vs. the Maple Leafs. Expect an update this afternoon.

Zajac missed the last eight games. He was dealing with a groin injury, but then got sick before he was ready to return to the lineup. He will centre the Devils top line with Scott Gomez and Jaromir Jagr on his wings. He has just eight points (4G / 4A) in 23 games this season.

Zajac (lower-body) will not travel on the Devils’ two-game road-trip.

Zajac missed Saturday’s game after suffering a lower-body injury on Friday vs. the Red Wings. He will miss at least the next two games as he will not travel with the team to Pittsburgh and Toronto. With injuries to a number of centres the Devils have signed Scott Gomez.

Zajac suffered the lower-body injury on Friday vs. the Red Wings. He will be replaced by Jordin Tootoo in the lineup tonight vs. the Isles. The injury is not believed to be serious and he is expected to be back in the lineup next week.

Zajac has missed the last two games, but will return tonight vs. Philadelphia. Zajac has been off to a slow start - much like the rest of the Devils. He has one goal and three assists in 12 games. Jacob Josefson will take a seat with Zajac healthy.

Zajac put very little weight on his right foot when he skated off the ice and exited to locker room. Jacob Josefson has moved onto a line with Damien Brunner and Danius Zubrus with Zajac out. Expect an update after practice.
