Tyler Bertuzzi has a lower-body injury and is questionable to play Saturday vs. Philadelphia.

Bertuzzi left the Red Wings' previous game vs. Vegas after just 11:22 TOI due to a lower-body injury and is questionable to play Saturday when Detroit takes on Philadelphia. Bertuzzi has been back for only six games since his previous long-term injury so he will be hoping this is nothing serious.

Tyler Bertuzzi will return to the Red Wings' lineup Tuesday (hand).

Bertuzzi last played on Nov. 30th due to a hand injury but will return to the Red Wings' lineup Tuesday as they take on the Winnipeg Jets. The 27-year-old has one goal, three assists, 22 SOG and four PIMs through nine games so far this year. In his return, he will slot back in on the Red Wings' top line with Dylan Larkin and Lucas Raymond.

It was a tough loss for both the Red Wings and Bertuzzi after he put up his first 30/30 season last year finishing with 62 points (30G/32A) in 68 games in 2021-22. Prior to breaking his hand, he picked up one assist and four SOG in two games.

Bertuzzi has been activated from the COVID-19 protocol list and will play on Tuesday.

Bertuzzi missed the last five games while in COVID-19 protocol but was back on the ice for Monday's practice and will play Tuesday against the Islanders. Bertuzzi says he will remain unvaccinated. He has had a really strong year thus far, scoring nine goals with nine assists (18 points) in 20 games.
