Reimer was not given a chance by his teammates and it was a mercy pull by Mike Babcock. Bishop allowed one goal on 25 shots in the Lightning’s win over the Red Wings on Wednesday. Bishop has won five of his last six games while posting a 1.59 GAA, .939 SV% and one shutout. Bishop is red-hot right now and tonight he faces a Penguins team that has won four straight while averaging 4.25 goals per game.

Tonight, Reimer will take on a Devils team that has won five of their last six games while averaging 3.00 goals per game. Reimer has gone 3-4-5 with a 2.24 GAA and .929 SV% on home ice this season.

Bishop will start Wednesday vs. the Red Wings.

Bishop allowed four goals on 30 shots in the Lightning’s loss in Florida on January 23rd. The Lightning used Andrei Vasievskiy in their final game before the break so that Bishop would be rested enough after playing in the All-Star to start tonight vs. the Red Wings. This is a huge matchup and Bishop comes in at 0-2-0 with a 2.05 GAA and .923 SV% in two starts vs. Detroit this season.

Reimer stopped 27 of 29 shots, but it wasn’t enough as the Maple Leafs fell to the Canadiens in a shootout on Saturday. Reimer has posted a 1.99 GAA and .938 SV% in January, but that has resulted in a 1-3-2 record because the Maple Leafs have averaged just 1.33 goals per game in those games.

Bishop stopped 17 of 18 shots in the Lightning’s win over the Blackhawks on Thursday. Bishop has won his last four starts while posting a 1.00 GAA and .957 SV%. Tonight he will face the Panthers for the third time this season—he has gone 1-0-1 with a 2.40 GAA and .900 SV%. Florida comes in on the tail end of a back-to-back after winning last night.

Bishop has won his last three starts while posting a 1.00 GAA, . 959 SV% and one shutout. The Blackhawks have won 12 straight games—their last loss was back on December 27th.

Since returning to the Maple Leafs crease, he has gone 0-3-0 with a 2.42 GAA and .922 SV%. He’ll face a Flyers team that has won five of their last six games.
