Jones played two games on a conditioning stint with the Hartford Wolf Pack (AHL), scoring one point (1G / 0A). He returns to the NHL, where he has eight points (1G / 7A) in 28 games with the Rangers this season.

Zucker did not practice on Monday and will be sorely missed if he misses any playing time. The 33-year-old Zucker is amid one of the best offensive campaigns of his career, scoring 44 points (18G / 26A) in 53 games this season. He has eight points (2G / 6A) during a five-game point streak.

Tuch left Saturday's blowout win over the Rangers with an undisclosed injury and will need to be further evaluated by Buffalo's medical staff. The Sabres did state post game that they were not "too concerned" about the injury so it is not expected to keep the 28-year-old out long-term.

Kozak made his NHL debut earlier this season and has one point (1G / 0A) in 11 games with the Sabres. The 22-year-old forward has spent most of the 2024-25 campaign in the AHL, tallying 13 points (7G / 6A) in 28 games with the Rochester Americans.

Malenstyn missed the final game before the 4Nations break and was absent from the first practice after the break. Malenstyn is considered questionable for Saturday until he returns to practice.

Greenway has been out since December 15th due to a mid-body injury but is ready to return to Buffalo's lineup when they take on New York on Saturday. The 28-year-old had been having a productive season prior to his injury with three goals, seven points and 24 SOG in 20 games played while bouncing throughout Buffalo's lineup.

Rosen was the 14th overall pick of the Sabres in the 2021 NHL Entry Draft. The 21-year-old played two games with the Sabres this season but has predominantly been in the AHL, scoring 39 points (23G / 16A) in 40 games with the Rochester Americans.

The Red Wings have won seven straight and will turn to Lyon between the pipes on Saturday afternoon when they host the Tampa Bay Lightning. Lyon has been excellent lately, posting a .940 SV% in his last three games (2-0-1). The 32-year-old netminder has a 2.58 GAA and .908 SV% in 21 appearances this season (10-6-1).

Thompson exited Sunday's 4-3 win over New Jersey Devils in the third period after being on the receiving end of an unsuspecting hit from Stefan Noesen. He did not play in Tuesday's 3-2 win over the Columbus Blue Jackets but could be an option when the Sabres return to action on Saturday against the Nashville Predators. The 27-year-old Thompson has been tremendous offensively lately, scoring 14 points (7G / 7A) in his last nine games.
