





Krebs has been a healthy scratch since Nov. 23rd but will draw back into the Sabres lineup Thursday as they take on Colorado. The 21-year-old has no goals, three assists and is a -4 plus/minus through 17 games this season.


Luukkonen stopped 34 of 36 shots (.944 SV%) for his first win of the season in his previous start vs. St. Louis. The second-year pro is 1-1-0 with a 3.50 GAA and a .881 SV% in only two starts this year. He will take on the Tampa Bay Lightning who have won five of their last six games after a 5-2 victory over the Blues their last time out.


McLeod will miss at least one week (four games) after being placed on IR on Sunday. Kailer Yamamoto was also placed on IR with McLeod, clearing the way for James Hamblin and Tyler Benson to be recalled from the AHL.


Krebs has three assists, a -3 plus/minus and no goals through his first 17 games this season and will head to the press box for the second time in three games Friday as a healthy scratch.

Bryson has a goal and six points with a -13 plus/minus rating through 20 games but will be out week-to-week with a lower-body injury. The 25-year-old was having his most productive season to date prior to the injury.

Meyer has been excellent in the AHL this season, scoring six goals with 12 assists to tie for 10th in the AHL with 18 points through 15 games. He'll likely make his season debut with the Blue Jackets on Friday and has three points (1G / 2A) in 13 career NHL games.

Krebs was a healthy scratch in Montreal on Tuesday but will replace Rasmus Asplund (day-to-day) in the lineup on Wednesday. Krebs has three assists in 16 games this season.

Luukkonen struggled in his only start of the season, allowing five goals on 23 shots (.783 SV%) in a loss to the Toronto Maple Leafs. He will hope his second start of the year goes much better against the St. Louis Blues who have won seven straight games.

Timmins heads to the injured Maple Leads after putting up three assists and 12 PIMs in six games with the Tucson Roadrunners in Arizona's farm system. The 24-year-old was traded for Curtis Douglas and will hope to add to his 41 career NHL games he has amassed over four injured riddled seasons.

Greenway has been in and out of the lineup this season due to injury only playing a total of 17:36 TOI across both games while collecting a -2 plus/minus and zero points. He returns from an upper-body injury looking to build off the 112 career NHL points he has gotten over six NHL seasons.

Sheahan was assigned to Rochester of the AHL after failing to pick up any points in two games for Buffalo, with four PIMs while averaging only 8:19 TOI. He heads back to Rochester (AHL) where he had three assists in six games prior to being called up to Buffalo previously.

Krebs will head to the press box Monday as a healthy scratch vs. Montreal as Zemgus Girgensons (undisclosed) returns to the lineup. Krebs has struggled so far this season, with only three assists, a -4 plus/minus and 12 PIMs through 16 games played.
