Bishop will start Game 7 in St. Louis on Tuesday.

Bishop was forced to leave Game 6 after being hit near the collarbone by a Colton Parayko slap-shot. Bishop allowed four goals on 20 shots before leaving the 4-1 loss with under two minutes left in the second period. Bishop is ready to start Game 7 in St. Louis—he has gone 4-1-1 while allowing a combined 17 goals on 190 shots (.911 SV%) in six road games in the playoffs.

Bishop allowed three goals on 33 shots in the Stars 5-3 win in Nashville for Game 5. The Stars’ offence has heated up in the last two games and Bishop has played great, stopping 64 of the last 68 shots (.942 SV%) that he has faced. Now the Stars have a chance to finish the series off on home-ice, where Bishop stopped 59 of 63 shots (.937 SV%) in Games 3 and 4.

It was another strong performance from Bishop, who has allowed just eight goals on 137 shots (.942 SV%) through four games. The Stars have shown more than capable of having with the higher seeded Predators and Bishop has been a difference maker for Dallas so far.

Bishop was outstanding for the second straight game and has now stopped 70 of the first 74 shots (.946 SV%) that he has faced in the series. Goals have been equally hard to come by at the other end of the rink, so Bishop will have to play great again in Game 3 if the Stars are going to take a 2-1 series lead.

The will be Bishop’s first playoff appearance with the Stars and first since 2016. In 36 career playoff starts while he was in Tampa Bay, Bishop was 21-13 with a 2.09 GAA, .927 SV% and five shutouts, so he is no stranger to playoff success.
