Reimer will start Wednesday vs. the Ducks.

Reimer allowed three goals on 32 shots in the Panthers win over the Devils on Monday. It’s been a tough season for Reimer, who is 2-3-1 with a 3.36 GAA and .902 SV% on home-ice. As poor as he has played, Reimer has a solid matchup against the Ducks this evening. The Ducks have won three of their last four but rank second last in the NHL in scoring (2.19 GF/pg).

The Sabres have recalled Lawrence Pilut from Rochester (AHL).

Pilut is a 22-year-old undrafted free agent, who came over from Sweden this offseason. Pilut has dominated the AHL so far, tying for first among defensemen and third in the AHL with 22 points (3G / 19A) in just 16 games. Pilut is not expected to make his NHL debut on Tuesday.

Bishop (lower-body) returned to the ice on Monday.

Bishop has missed the last three games with a lower-body injury, but his return to the ice on Monday is a good sign that Bishop could be back this week. The Stars have a back-to-back on Tuesday/Wednesday, so a return on Wednesday would be ideal, so Anton Khudobin doesn’t have to start two nights in a row.

Reimer will start Monday vs. the Devils.

Reimer surrendered five goals on 41 shots in the Panthers loss to the Blackhawks on Saturday. With Roberto Luongo sidelined again, Reimer is expected to start the vast majority of games until he’s back. The 30-year-old is 2-2-1 with a 3.45 GAA and .907 SV% in November. Despite below average play, tonight he sees a Devils team on the tail-end of a back-to-back.

Bishop is expected to miss one week with a lower-body injury.

Bishop was forced to leave Monday’s game in New York with a lower-body injury. Bishop is dealing with a muscle strain and will miss at least one week. Anton Khudobin will take over as the Stars No.1 netminder and Landon Bow is expected to be recall as his backup.

Reimer will start Monday in Ottawa.

Reimer allowed one goal on 35 shots in the Panthers 5-1 win over the Senators last Sunday. Roberto Luongo has started the last three games, but Reimer will face the Senators again tonight. Ottawa comes in having won three of their last four games, but Reimer remains a solid spot-start or daily option.
