Bishop (face) will return to the Stars crease on Monday.

Bishop allowed three goals on 42 shots in the Stars loss to the Kings last Tuesday. He ended up missing Saturday’s game after being hit in the face on the bench during Thursday’s game, but the swelling has gone down and he’s ready-to-go Monday. Bishop came out of January at 4-4-1 with a 2.22 GAA and .927 SV% in nine starts.

Bishop was hit in the face by a puck on the bench during Thursday’s game and won’t play Saturday. Bishop doesn’t have a concussion but they need to wait for some swelling to come down. A goalie will be recalled to backup Kari Lehtonen on Saturday.

Bishop surrendered four goals on 29 shots in the Stars loss to the Maple Leafs last Thursday. Bishop has gone 4-3-1 with a 2.12 GAA and .927 SV% in eight January starts. Tonight he will face a Kings team that he spent the end of last season with—he comes in at 16-6-1 with a 2.06 GAA and .931 SV% at the American Airlines Center this season.

Bishop turned aside 33 of 34 shots in the Stars win over the Panthers on Tuesday. Bishop has gone 4-1-1 with a 1.82 GAA and .938 SV% in his last six starts. Tonight he will face the Maple Leafs who are on the tail-end of a back-to-back. Bishop has gone 16-5-1 with a 1.97 GAA and .934 SV% in 22 starts on home-ice this season.

Reimer exited Tuesday’s game with a lower-body injury and did not return.

Reimer was hurt while trying to make a save early in the first period of the Panthers loss to the Stars. The Panthers are already without Roberto Luongo, so if Reimer is going to miss any time the Panthers will turn to Harri Sateri for the time being.

Reimer allowed three goals on 36 shots in the Panthers win over the Golden Knights last Friday. Unfortunately for Reimer, he has allowed at least three goals in five of his last six starts. The 29-year-old has gone 5-8-3 with a 2.93 GAA and .913 SV% in 16 road starts this season and Dallas is 16-6-1 on home ice.

Bishop allowed one goal on 26 shots in the Stars shootout loss in Columbus last Thursday. Kari Lehtonen started on Saturday so Bishop will be back between the pipes tonight vs. the Panthers. Bishop is 3-2-1 with a 1.99 GAA and .929 SV% in his last six starts.

Reimer allowed three goals on 28 shots in the Panthers loss to the Flames last Friday. After a long bye week, Reimer will get back between the pipes tonight vs. the Golden Knights. Reimer has lost four of his last five starts (1-3-1) while allowing a combined 16 goals on 151 shots (.894 SV%). Vegas sits at an impressive 30-11-3 but the Panthers catch a break as they come in on a back-to-back.

Bishop allowed two goals on 15 shots in the Stars win in Detroit on Tuesday. It was an easy night for Bishop, who has won three of his last four starts while posting a 2.26 GAA and .923 SV%. In his first start against the Blue Jackets, Bishop allowed two goals on 26 shots in a 2-1 loss.

Bishop allowed three goals on 22 shots in the Stars loss to the Avalanche on Saturday. Kari Lehtonen started yesterday so Bishop draws the Red Wings tonight on the tail-end of a back-to-back. Bishop comes in having won four of his last six games while posting a 1.85 GAA, .942 SV% and one shutout. Bishop has a win over the Red Wings this season and tremendous career numbers against Detroit.

Reimer allowed four goals on 30 shots in the Panthers win in St. Louis on Tuesday. The win snapped a three-game losing streak for Reimer, who will make his 17th consecutive start tonight. Reimer has gone 8-5-3 with a .923 SV% in his previous 16 starts.

Bishop allowed one goal on 38 shots in the Stars win over the Oilers last Saturday. Coming out of the Stars’ bye week, Bishop will start vs. the Avalanche and comes in having won four of his last five starts with 1.61 GAA, .953 SV% and one shutout. Bishop is 1-1-0with a 2.88 GAA and .903 SV% in three games vs. Colorado this season.

The Blues have assigned Tage Thompson to San Antonio (AHL).

Thompson has picked up five points (3G / 2A) in 15 games with the Blues since being called up. With the Blues bye week start on Wednesday, he heads back to the AHL to keep playing. He has 16 points (7G / 9A) in 24 games with the Rampage this season.
