Bishop will start on back-to-back nights.

Bishop allowed one goal on 30 shots in the Stars win over the Canadiens last night. With Kari Lehtonen (personal) out, Bishop will start for the second straight evening. Bishop has won two straight and has stopped 47 of 48 shots (.979 SV%). He makes for a solid option tonight even on zero rest.

With Lehtonen leaving the team due to personal reasons, Bishop may start both games of the Stars Tuesday-Wednesday back-to-back. Bishop has had a rough November, but comes into Tuesday at 6-1-0 with a 1.36 GAA and .948 SV% on home-ice this season.

Bishop allowed five goals on 28 shots in the Stars’ loss in Carolina on Monday. Kari Lehtonen gave him the night off on Tuesday, so they’ll come back to Bishop against his former team tonight. Bishop has lost three of his last four starts while posting a 3.05 GAA and .871 SV%, making him a risky start against the NHL’s highest scoring squad.

It was about as easy as a shutout gets in the NHL and was Bishop’s seventh win of the season and just his second in his last six games. Bishop allowed four goals on 26 shots in the Stars’ loss in Winnipeg last Thursday. Kari Lehtonen started on Saturday, so Bishop gets the nod tonight vs. the Jets. The 30-year-old netminder has gone 4-0-0 with a 1.48 GAA and .948 SV% on home-ice this season, but the Jets come in with points in seven straight (4-0-3) while averaging 3.43 goals for per game.

Reimer is not the first goalie to be victimized by the Lightning this season, but he has now lost three of his last four starts while allowing a combined 15 goals on 128 shots (.883 SV%). Things do not get any easier for him tonight with the Blue Jackets in town.

Tonight he faces a Jets team averaging 3.00 goals for per game and Bishop enters play at 2-2-0 with a 3.61 GAA and .895 SV% on the road.

Reimer surrendered five goals on 37 shots in the Panthers’ 5-1 loss in Montreal on Tuesday. It was a completely different outcome than his start in Washington three days prior, but with Roberto Luongo out, they’ll go right back to Reimer tonight vs. the Ducks. Anaheim enters play averaging 3.00 goals for per game so far.

Bishop was pulled after allowing three goals on 17 shots in the Stars’ loss in Colorado on Tuesday. Bishop was not happy with Ken Hitchcock’s decision to yank him and will look to be better tonight in Edmonton. It was his worst start to date and comes in at 5-1-0 with a 2.38 GAA and .920 SV% in eight games.

Bishop has been exactly what the Stars were hoping they got when they signed him this offseason—he has gone 5-1-0 with a 2.09 GAA and .928 SV% in seven starts this season, including a win against the Avalanche, who he will face again tonight—consider him a must-start yet again.

Reimer stopped 41 of 42 shots in the Panthers’ win over the Capitals on Saturday. It was an excellent outing for Reimer, who is now the Panthers’ No.1 netminder with Roberto Luongo (thumb) on IR. He has stopped 52 of the last 54 shots that he has faced and tonight he takes on a Montreal team that is dead last in scoring (1.50 GF/PG) right now.
