

Bussi was recalled while Jeremy Swayman was away from the team due to illness but has been returned to Providence (AHL) upon Swayman's return Friday. The 25-year-old returns to Providence, where he was enjoying a successful start to the season with his 6-4-2 record, 2.58 GAA and .917 SV%.

Svechnikov was a very late scratch for Thursday's game with the announcement being made less than 10 minutes before puck drop. He did participate in warmups but evidently was not feeling well enough to play. Brendan Lemieux will enter the lineup in his place.

Kochetkov will get an immediate chance to redeem himself after last night's disappointing start in Edmonton. Kochetkov allowed three goals on the first six shots he faced before being lifted in favour of Antti Raanta, who hardly fared any better in the 6-1 defeat. Kochetkov owns an unflattering .871 SV% to go along with a 4-5-1 record on the season. He'll be hoping to get back in the win column on Thursday with the Hurricanes being -125 favourites over the Flames.

Robinson was traded from the Columbus Blue Jackets to the Sabres yesterday in exchange for a conditional seventh-round pick and is expected to make his debut with his new team on Thursday. Robinson has a goal, nine SOG, and a -3 plus/minus through seven games this season.


Bussi is unlikely to see any action while he is with the Bruins but will likely serve as the backup on Thursday as Jeremy Swayman is dealing with an illness. Bussi has a 2.58 GAA and .917 SV% in 12 games with Providence (AHL), posting a 6-4-2 record.

Kochetkov will be back in goal for the Hurricanes on Wednesday after Antti Raanta got the call for Monday's game against the Jets. Robinson has a goal, nine SOG, and a -3 plus/minus through seven games this season and has been traded to Buffalo Wednesday. The Blue Jackets' will receive a 2025 seventh-round pick for the 28-year-old and Buffalo receives a seven year veteran winger who has 38 goals and 82 points in 266 career games played and holds a $1.8 million cap hit for this season.




Smith has played 17 consecutive games for the Sharks but exited last night's contest after playing only 2:59 with a mid-body injury and was a game-time decision on Friday. Smith has been held off the scoresheet in six straight games and has three points (1G / 2A) in 21 games this season.
