Chicago has signed Lukas Reichel to a two-year, $2.4 million contract ($1,200,000 AAV).

Reichel just finished his second season in Chicago and had six goals, 16 points, 84 SOG, 12 PIMs and a -29 plus/minus in 65 games played and signed a two-year, $2.4 million contract ($1,200,000 AAV) on Tuesday. The 21-year-old was Chicago's 2020 first-round pick (17th overall) and has 32 points (12G/20A) in his first 99 career games played in the NHL.

Chicago has signed Alex Vlasic to a six-year, $27.6 million ($4,600,000 AAV) contract extension.

Vlasic was the 43 overall pick of the Blackhawks in the 2019 NHL Entry Draft and just completed his first full NHL season. In 76 games with the Blackhawks this season, the 22-year-old defenseman recorded 16 points (2G / 14A).

Murphy (undisclosed) will be out on Thursday after tweaking something last game.

Murphy played the last three games for the Blackhawks but will not play in their season finale after suffering an undisclosed injury. The 31-year-old Murphy ends the 2023-24 campaign with eight points (2G / 6A) in 46 games.

Soderblom will start on Thursday in Vegas.

The Blackhawks will turn to Soderblom between the pipes on Thursday against the Los Angeles Kings for their final game of the season. Soderblom allowed five goals on 40 shots (.875 SV%) in his last outing, a 5-1 loss to the Nashville Predators, and has a 3.88 GAA and .880 SV% in 31 games (5-22-1) this season. The Blackhawks enter action as +306 road underdogs.

Brodie will draw back into the Maple Leafs' lineup on Wednesday vs. Tampa Bay.

Brodie was a healthy scratch for Toronto's previous contest but will draw back into the lineup for game 82 vs. Tampa Bay on Wednesday. The 33-year-old has struggled mightily lately and will look to take steps forward in righting the ship before the playoffs. Through 77 games played this season, he has yet to score but has 25 assists, 51 SOG, 40 PIMs and a +17 plus/minus.

T.J. Brodie
Brossoit will start on Thursday vs. Vancouver.

With the Jets locking in home-ice advantage in their impending first-round matchup against the Colorado Avalanche, they will give Connor Hellebuyck the night off in their final game of the season and turn to Brossoit. The 31-year-old Brossoit has had a terrific season as the Jets' backup, posting a 2.00 GAA and .928 SV% in 22 games (14-5-2).

Maroon will be a healthy scratch on Tuesday vs. Ottawa.

Maroon appeared in two games for Boston since being acquired at the Trade Deadline due to a back injury but will be a healthy scratch for the final game of the season Tuesday vs. Ottawa. The 35-year-old veteran bruiser will close out his 2023-24 regular season with four goals, 16 points, 56 SOG and 60 PIMs in 51 games played with both Minnesota and Boston.

The Blackhawks will go with Mrazek between the pipes in their penultimate game of the season. Mrazek has allowed three or fewer goals in six straight (2-4-0) but was unvictorious in his last outing, allowing three goals on 33 shots (.909 SV%) in a 4-2 loss to the Carolina Hurricanes. The Blackhawks enter action as significant +339 road underdogs.
