Teravainen suffered an upper-body injury during last night’s win over Edmonton and will not travel to Colorado with the team today ahead of their two-game road trip. Through 14 games this season, the 28-year-old has seven assists with 32 SOG and a +3 plus/minus rating.

Mrazek last played October 21st vs. Detroit and left after allowing three goals on 18 shots (.833 SV%) due to injury. He struggled prior to the injury, posting a 1-1-0 record with a .873 SV% and 3.75 GAA. He faces off against the Los Angeles Kings who are on a two-game winning streak and didn't allow a goal their last time out, beating Minnesota 1-0.

Sanford has one goal and one assist through seven games this season with a -2 plus/minus rating.

Soderblom stopped 31 of 32 shots (.970 SV%) for his first victory of the season his last time out vs. Los Angeles. Soderblom has been a revelation for the Blackhawks since Alex Stalock went down (concussion) posting a .935 SV% and 2.37 GAA. He will take on the Winnipeg Jets who have won four of their last five contests.

Brossoit will head to Henderson of the AHL for an LTIR conditioning loan Monday. It is great news for the eight-year veteran who has 42 wins, a 2.84 GAA and a .905 career save percentage. Vegas has eight wins through their first 10 games so will be in no rush to bring the veteran back.

Donato was a healthy scratch previously but will be back in the lineup Saturday.

Hillis was a third-round pick in 2018 who has appeared in just one NHL game for the Canadiens. He's started the 2023 season in the ECHL, where he had two goals in three games with Trois-Rivieres Lions. Hillis will report to Rockford (AHL).

Mrazek stopped 24 of 26 shots (.923 SV%) for his first victory of the season in a 5-2 win over the San Jose Sharks his last time out. It has been up and down in two starts for Mrazek, as he holds a .885 SV% and 3.50 GAA through the opening part of the season. The Blackhawks will host the Red Wings Friday who is still yet to lose in regulation after three games (2-0-1) and are averaging 4.0 GF/GP early on.
