Martinez fell awkwardly during Wednesday's loss to the Blues and did not return. Martinez was held off of the ice on Thursday and Friday and will not play vs. the Oilers. With Martinez unavailable, Nicolas Hague is expected to skate with Alex Pietrangelo.

Foligno left Wednesday's game with an upper-body injury and did not return. Foligno has been ruled out of Friday's game vs. Buffalo and Anton Blidh is expected to replace him in the lineup. Look for Karson Kuhlman to move up to the third line.

The Jets sent Cole Perfetti down yesterday and have recalled Toninato in a corresponding move. The 27-year-old has one assist in two games with the Moose this season.

Bertuzzi will be in the lineup Thursday vs. the Flames, will miss Saturday's game in Montreal but will be back in the lineup for Sunday's game in Chicago. Bertuzzi is ineligible to play in Canada this season due to his COVID-19 vaccination status.

Bertuzzi will be in training camp and will be forced to follow more strict guidelines but will be eligible to play in all games in the United States. The Red Wings play nine games in Canada this season, so Bertuzzi will be suspended without pay for those games under the agreement between the NHL and the NHLPA.
