Landeskog was scratched in Wednesday's game against the Penguins. Landeskog was expected to play but did not come out for warmups and ended up being scratched with Mikhail Grigorenko returning to the lineup. Consider Landeskog as day-to-day until the Avalanche release more information.

Parise, who missed the past eight games with a sprained knee ligament, was taken off injured reserve this morning. That should pave the way for his return this afternoon (3 p.m.) against the Winnipeg Jets. Parise, the team's leading goal scorer with seven when injured Nov. 5, took part in morning skates Saturday and Wednesday but practiced for the first time yesterday. He is expected to replace Christoph Bertschy in the lineup.

Parise returned to practice on Saturday, but reportedly was not 100 per cent, which is why he didn’t practice on Monday. Parise is expected to miss the Wild’s three-game home-stand this week, but could be back next week.

Parise resumed skating earlier in the week but will officially rejoin practice on Saturday. Parise has been out for two weeks but returning to practice is a huge step in the right direction for Parise. Monitor his status heading into next week.

After serving a two game suspension, Landeskog will be back on the Avs’ top line with Nathan MacKinnon and Matt Duchene on Thursday. Landeskog’s return means less minutes for Mikhail Grigorenko—Colorado’s captain has 12 points (5G / 7A) in 16 games.

Manson missed Monday’s game with an illness and head coach Bruce Boudreau said that he will be a “game-time decision at best” tonight. Korbinian Holzer replaced Manson last night and could play there again tonight.

Parise who is dealing with a sparring knee was originally expected to be out until at least next Monday. However, the Wild said there is still no timetable for his return. Parise returning to the ice is a positive sign that his knee is healing well.

Parise missed Saturday’s game because of a sprained MCL. He was listed as week-to-week, but head coach Mike Yeo gave a more detailed update on Monday. Parise is expected to miss at least the next five games.

Parise sufferd a sprained MCL on a knee-on-knee collision with James Neal on Thursday. He will be out week-to-week, which means there won’t be any updates on his status for at least a week or two. This is a huge blow to the Wild’s offence.

Parise suffered the injury after being hit by James Neal while he was engaged with Ryan Ellis along the side boards. Parise got up slowly and it has already been announced that he will not play on Saturday. The nature or severity of the injury has yet to be announced, but the Wild can’t afford to lose Parise for an extended period of time—he currently leads the team in goals with seven.

Helm missed the first four games of the regular season after separating his shoulder in the first training camp practice. Helm will replace Landon Ferraro in the lineup and is expected to start on the fourth line with Drew Miller and Joakim Andersson. In 2014-15 Helm set career-highs with 15 goals ad 33 points.

Nichushkin served as a healthy scratch in the last two games, but with injuries to Patrick Eaves, Curtis McKenzie and Travis Moen, the Stars will put Nichushkin back in the lineup on Saturday. The 20-year-old winger, who had five shots on goal in the first two games, will skate on the second line with Jason Spezza and Colton Sceviour vs. the Panthers.

Helm appeared to be on the verge of returning to the lineup earlier in the week, but now it looks like he will be held out of both of the Red Wings’ games this weekend. The Red Wings are off to a 3-0 start, so there is no reason to rush Helm back into action. Look for him to return next week.
