Christiansen has two assists, 19 SOG and is a -3 through 17 games with the Blue Jackets this season but will head to the press box as a healthy scratch with the return of Adam Boqvist (foot).

Tarasov allowed four goals on 38 shots (.895 SV%) as he picked up his fourth straight loss in a defeat to Philadelphia in his previous game. The 23-year-old has been leaned on heavily lately and played well despite what his 2-7-1 record may show, as he has a .913 SV% and 3.13 GAA. He will hope for better fortunes against the Chicago Blackhawks, who have lost their last eight games and are last in the NHL in goals per game with 2.26.



Chinakhov has four goals, nine assists, 10 PIMs, 44 SOG and was a -6 plus/minus before it was announced Wednesday he will miss approximately six weeks due to a high ankle sprain.

Kunin has five goals, eight assists, 42 PIMs and 58 SOG but will not miss the remainder of the season after having surgery to repair a torn ACL Tuesday. The estimated time of recovery for injuries of this nature is approximately six-eight months, so Kunin will hope to be back for the start of the 2023-24 season.

Tarasov allowed only one goal on 33 shots (.970 SV%) but still managed to pick up his fourth straight loss in a hard-fought defeat to the Dallas Stars in his last start. The Blue Jackets' third goalie has been their best netminder by a mile, with his .915 SV%, 3.03 GAA and 2-6-1 record. He will take on the Philadelphia Flyers, who have lost five of their last six games after a 6-3 defeat to the Rangers in their last game.

Greaves has a 5-3-4 record, .887 SV% and 4.09 GAA in 11 starts with the Cleveland Monsters (AHL) and will be called up to the Blue Jackets for a second time this season. He failed to see any action in his last call up, but if he does this time around he will be making his NHL debut.

Marzlikins has been having a nightmarish season to date, with his 4-8-0 record, 4.68 GAA and .864 SV% and will now be forced to miss some time due to an illness that is keeping him out of the lineup Tuesday. Jet Greaves has been recalled to backup the Blue Jackets in relief in the meantime.

Chinakhov only managed one shift (0:37 TOI) in the Blue Jackets game Monday and will now head to the injured reserve with an ankle injury as he is out indefinitely. The 2020 1st round pick (21st overall) had been having his most productive season to date, with four goals, nine assists, 44 SOG and 10 PIMs through 30 games prior to the injury.

He will face the Dallas Stars, who are coming off a 5-4 overtime loss but are fourth in the NHL in goals per game (3.63).

This will be a massive loss for the Blue Jackets as they will be without their top centre for at least four weeks due to him undergoing surgery to repair a fractured thumb. Columbus' captain had been enjoying a strong first half of the season, with 11 goals, 22 points, 93 SOG and five PPG through 30 games while averaging the most time amongst their forwards with 20:11 ATOI.
