

The Canadiens' COVID-19 list grew to nine players, one day ahead of Tuesday's game in Tampa. With Chiarot out, look for Sami Niku to draw back onto Montreal's blueline on Tuesday.

Detroit added two more players to the COVID-19 protocol list on Sunday but removed three on Monday. With Raymond out until at least the middle of next week, look for Robby Fabbri to move up to the top line on Wednesday.

The Oilers have already been shut down through the Christmas break, so we'll see when they resume play next week. Lagesson will likely be out until at least next Thursday.












Hamonic was moved to IR on Thursday after suffering a lower-body injury on Wednesday. Hamonic will miss at least two weeks. Brad Hunt will replace him in the lineup on Friday.

Compher has missed the last 11 games with an upper-body injury but is set to play Friday vs. the Red Wings. Compher will replace Nazem Kadri, who is day-to-day with a lower-body injury. Compher has scored five goals with four assists (nine points) in 12 games this season.

Hamonic suffered a lower-body injury mid-way through Wednesday's win over the Bruins. He was moved to IR on Thursday, opening up a roster spot for Noah Juulsen to be called up from the AHL.
