Copp scored a hat-trick in the first period but then left with a lower-body injury against the Islanders on Thursday and is not expected to play Saturday in Boston. With both Copp and Filip Chytil (undisclosed) not likely to be available, look for two of Jonny Brodzinski, Greg McKegg and/or Julien Gauthier to draw into the lineup.

Chiasson missed the last two games with a non-COVID illness but will play Thursday in Minnesota. Chiasson has been red-hot as go late and should be back in a top-6 role and on the top PP unit.

Chiasson was scratched Monday vs. the Stars and is questionable to play in the second half of their back-to-back on Tuesday. Monitor his status as the Canucks hit the ice for warmups at 9:30 PM ET.

Chiasson has been playing very well recently, scoring six goals with four assists (10 points) in his last seven games. He was a late scratch on Monday and that leaves him questionable to play in the second half of the Canucks' back-to-back when they take on the Senators on Tuesday.

Larkin will miss the remainder of the 2021-22 season. Recovery time is expected to be 8-10 weeks. Larkin appeared in 70 games for Detroit this season and currently leads the team in both goals (31) and points (69).

Gustafsson did not register a point in 20:14 TOI on Saturday and will come out of the lineup to make room or Caleb Jones to re-enter the lineup on Monday.

Simek suffered a lower-body injury early in Thursday's game in Chicago and will be re-evaluated back home. Erik Karlsson is also heading back to San Jose and Alexander Barabanov will not be available on Saturday, leaving the Sharks with just 16 skaters in Dallas.

Simek dressed as a seventh defenseman on Saturday but will be scratched in favour of Jeffrey Viel on Tuesday.
