Talbot will start Thursday in Florida.

Talbot allowed four goals on 23 shots in the Oilers loss in Washington on Monday. Mikko Koskinen started and lost on Tuesday, so they’ll come back to Talbot tonight in Florida. Talbot has gone 3-3-0 with a 2.86 GAA and .899 SV% in six road starts this season.

Talbot will start Monday in Washington.

Talbot allowed four goals on 28 shots in the Oilers loss to the Wild last Tuesday. Mikko Koskinen went on to start the next two games, but the Oilers will come back to Talbot tonight vs. the Capitals. Talbot stopped 31 of 32 shots in a win over the Capitals in Edmonton 11 days ago.

Holl will make his season debut on Thursday.

Holl has been a healthy scratch for all 12 of the Maple Leafs games so far this season, but will play in his third career NHL game tonight. The 26-year-old defenseman had 28 points (7G / 21A) with the Marlies last season and scored a goal in both games he played with the Maple Leafs. Don’t expect him to score in every game, but Holl does have some offensive upside and could be worth a punt in DFS if you are desperate to save some salary.

Kane (illness) will be a game-time decision on Wednesday.

Kane missed the Blackhawks morning skate with an illness and is officially listed as a game-time decision for tonight’s game in Vancouver. Kane has had a great start to the season, scoring 11 goals with seven assists (18 points) in 12 games this season. David Kampf or Andreas Martinsen would replace Kane if he can’t play.

The Avalanche recalled Sheldon Dries from Colorado (AHL).

Dries did not pick up a point in four games with the Avalanche earlier in the season, but has two points (1G / 1A) in five AHL games with the Eagles. The 24-year-old will likely play on the upcoming two-game road-trip because the Avalanche are without Tyson Jost, J.T. Compher and Sven Andrighetto.

Talbot will start Tuesday vs. the Wild.

Talbot allowed a single goal on 32 shots in the Oilers 2-1 overtime win in Chicago on Sunday. Talbot has won two straight while stopping 62 of 64 shots (.969 SV%). He draws a strong matchup against a Wild team on the tail-end of a back-to-back. Talbot enters Tuesday at 2-1-1 with a 2.67 GAA and .909 SV% on home-ice.
