Tomkins was placed on waivers Thursday in a move that would indicate Andrei Vasileskiy's return from injury. The 29-year-old is expected to be assigned to Syracuse (AHL) if he does pass through waivers after posting a 1-2-0 record, 3.40 GAA, and .889 SV% in three games with Tampa Bay.

Janmark has missed the Oilers' previous 10 games due to a shoulder injury but has been activated from the long-term injured reserve Wednesday and is expected to play vs. Carolina. The 30-year-old got off to a rough start in 2023-24 prior to his injury, as he had no points, seven SOG, and four PIMs in seven games.

Skinner served as the backup for the first time since Jack Campbell was demoted to Bakersfield (AHL) earlier this month as Calvin Pickard started for the Oilers but was unsuccessful, allowing four goals on 31 shots in a 5-3 loss to the Florida Panthers. In his last contest, Skinner allowed five goals on 23 shots (.783 SV%) in a 6-4 loss to the Tampa Bay Lightning but was stellar in his three games prior (3-0-0), allowing only five goals on 86 shots (.942 SV%). The Oilers are +125 road underdogs on Wednesday against a Carolina Hurricanes team that is mid-pack in the league offensively (3.24 GF / GP) and defensively (3.18 GA / GP) and is fourth in the Metropolitan division with a 10-7-0 record.

Walman left the Red Wings' Stadium Series showdown vs. Toronto after just 14 shifts and 12:29 TOI due to an undisclosed injury but fully practiced Tuesday and is expected to play Wednesday vs. New Jersey. It is great news for the Red Wings as their top paired defensemen has been off to a fantastic start early with four goals, three assists, 31 SOG, 18 PIMs and a +5 plus/minus in 17 games this season.

The Coyotes will turn back to Ingram on Monday as the team remains intent on evenly rotating between their two goaltenders, even though Ingram has been far more reliable this season. Of the Coyotes' eight wins this season, six belong to Ingram, who has put together an impressive 2.75 GAA and .918 SV% in eight appearances (6-1-0). That said, the Coyotes are +132 home underdogs against a Los Angeles Kings team that has points in 10 of their last 11 (9-1-1).

Pickard has 116 NHL games under his belt but will receive his first start at the NHL level since the 2021-22 season when he was a member of the Detroit Red Wings. Jack Campbell's reassignment earlier this month triggered Pickard's call-up from Bakersfield (AHL), where he posted a sensational 2.03 GAA and .939 SV% in four games (2-2-0). Pickard will have his work cut out for him in his return to NHL action as the Oilers face off against a Florida Panthers team that has won six of their past seven contests (6-1-0).

Skinner will look for his fourth consecutive win Saturday after he beat Seattle stopping 32 of 25 shots (.914 SV%) in his previous start. The 25-year-old was an All-Star last season but has struggled out of the gate in 2023-24, with his 4-5-1 record, 3.23 GAA, and .880 SV%. He will face Tampa Bay on the road Saturday, who broke a three-game losing streak with a victory their last time out and are 12th in the NHL in goals per game (3.35).

Walman left Friday's Global Series game in Sweden after crashing into the post in the second period and will not return. The 27-year-old's absence will be a massive loss if he is forced to miss any time as he has four goals, seven points, 31 SOG, 18 PIMs and a +5 plus/minus in 16 games this season while manning the Red Wings' top defensive pair for 21:01 TOI/GP.

Ingram has been terrific for the Coyotes this season, winning five of the team's seven games, posting a 2.87 GAA and .911 SV%, noticeably outperforming teammate Karel Vejmelka, despite having played in two fewer games. Ingram looks poised for another strong performance on Thursday as the Coyotes are -117 road favourites against a Columbus Blue Jackets team that has lost six consecutive games (0-4-2), held to three or fewer goals in four of those contests.

Skinner is coming off consecutive quality starts for the first time this season and will look to stretch his streak to three games on Wednesday. In his last two games (2-0-0), Skinner has saved 49 of 51 shots (.961 SV%), including saving 17 of 18 (.944 SV%) against Wednesday's opponent, the Seattle Kraken. The Oilers are in the midst of their first two-game winning streak of the season and have outscored their opposition 8-2. They will hope to continue their success under new head coach Kris Knoblauch as -182 home favourites against a Kraken team that has been outscored 9-2 in their last two outings (0-2-0).

Janmark has not played since suffering a shoulder injury on October 26th and has been placed on the long-term injured reserve. Janmark was averaging 13:05 time-on-ice in the seven games leading up to his injury, scoring zero points and a -2 plus/minus rating. The Oilers have recalled Raphael Lavoie and Adam Erne.

Emberson has played seven games this season but has been out of the lineup since November 7th. He has one point (0G / 1A), nine blocks, and nine hits while averaging 15:57 time-on-ice. He is expected to replace Kyle Burroughs, who will be a healthy scratch on Tuesday.

The Oilers will turn to Skinner again after he helped them snap a four-game losing streak on Saturday, saving 17 of 18 shots in a 4-1 win over the Seattle Kraken. Monday night's contest against the New York Islanders will mark the Oilers' first game with new head coach Kris Knoblauch after Jay Woodcroft was fired on Sunday. The pressure of a new coach and the Islanders' general inability to score (2.46 GF / GP) attribute to the Oilers being listed as -171 home favourites.

Roslovic left the Blue Jackets' previous game vs. the Rangers after 16:17 TOI after blocking a shot and will now miss 4-6 weeks with a fractured ankle. The 26-year-old heads to the injured reserve with two goals, six assists, 29 SOG, six PIMs, and a -6 plus/minus through 14 games prior to his injury. David Jiricek has been recalled in a corresponding roster move.

Roslovic played the entire game for the Blue Jackets on Sunday but suffered an undisclosed injury at some point and has since been placed on the injured reserve, meaning he will miss at least one week. Roslovic was off to a strong start this season, tallying eight points (2G / 6A) in 14 games and 29 shots while averaging 16:31 time-on-ice. Kent Johnson, who was sent down to Cleveland (AHL) last week, could be an option to replace Roslovic's offence for the Blue Jackets should they opt to recall him.

The Oilers will likely turn to Skinner again after he helped them snap a four-game losing streak on Saturday, saving 17 of 18 shots in a 4-1 win over the Seattle Kraken.
