There is no word as to why Skinner is not on the ice this morning, but expect an update after the skate.
Perry is in warmups after being listed as questionable so look for him to return tonight vs. the Sharks. Perry has registered 22 points (14G / 8A) in 23 games this season.
The Ducks have sent Max Friberg back to the AHL which is a sign that Perry will be activated from IR and be in the lineup tonight vs. the Sharks. He has been out since December 5th, but this would be a perfect way for the Ducks to end 2014. Perry has 14 goals and eight assists (22 points) in 23 games.
Perry will take part in the Ducks morning skate on Wednesday and decide after the skate if he will return to the lineup vs. the Sharks.
Perry has been out since December 5th with a sprained knee. Despite skating again on Monday, neither Perry or coach Boudreau would commit to Perry playing tomorrow vs. the Sharks. Monitor Perry’s status during the Ducks’ morning skate tomorrow.
Draisaitl did not practice on Monday and his status for Tuesday’s game vs. the Kings is up in the air. Monitor his status during the Oilers’ morning skate on Tuesday.

Kane’s lower-body injury is believed to be related to his foot after he blocked a shot on Saturday in Minnesota. T.J Galiardi is expected to replace Kane in the lineup. Consider him day-t0-day.
Kane was listed as questionable for tonight’s game with a lower-body injury and his absence from the morning skate is not a good sign that he will be available tonight vs. the Wild. We will get an update following the skate.
Perry took part in the Ducks optional morning skate, but will not play tonight vs. the Canucks. The next game he is eligible to return in would be Wednesday against the Sharks. Monitor his status leading up to Wednesday.

Perry is not with the team in Arizona he is back skating in Anaheim. This suggests that Perry likely won’t be in the lineup tomorrow either. With Perry out, Devante Smith-Pelly is expected to skate on the first line.
The Ducks did not have a morning skate so there is no indication whether Perry will return to the lineup tonight or not. If Perry does not play, Devante Smith-Pelly should move back to the top-line. There should be an announcement when the team arrives at the rink at 6 PM ET, if not we will have to monitor his status during pre-game warmups at 7:30 PM ET.
Pickard allowed one goal on 35 shots in the Avalanche’s shootout win over the Red Wings last Sunday. He has won three of his last six starts while posting a 1.61 GAA and .955 SV%. He continues to force the Avs to keep him with the big-club and a few more strong performances could land him a permanent spot.
Smith gave up five goals on 38 shots in the Coyotes loss to Nashville on December 11th. He watched Devan Dubnyk get the last three starts, but will return tonight vs. Vancouver. He is 2-8-0 with a 3.17 GAA and .895 SV% on the road this season, so look elsewhere tonight.

Pickard stopped 28 of 29 shots in the Avs’ 5-1 win over the Sabres last night. He has stopped 75 of 77 shots (.974) and gone 1-0-1. Tonight he faces a Red Wings team who have averaged just 1.00 goals per game on a six-game losing skid.
Pickard stoop 47 of 48 shots in the Avs’ 1-0 OT loss to the Penguins on Thursday. Once again, Pickard was sensational, but did not walk away with the W.
