Niklas Backstrom is out with a knee injury so Kuemper gets called up to backup Josh Harding. The WIld have back-to-back games tonight and tomorrow, so Kuemper could get the start tomorrow.

Edler will be eligible to return next Saturday in Pittsburgh.

Smith was injured on the play and finished the period but wasn't back in net for the third. He was replaced by Jason Labarbera. Edler will miss games on Saturday at Los Angeles and Sunday at Colorado. He is eligible to return on Tuesday when the Canucks host the Columbus Blue Jackets.

It will be Perry's first game since signing an eight-year, $69 million extension. Perry has nine goals and 15 assists in 25 games this season.

Edler's hearing is on the phone which means the max suspension he faces is five games.

Perry will remain in Anaheim for the next eight years along with Ryan Getzlaf. The two have inked eight year deals this season for very similar money. Perry gets $69 million over eight years, while Getzlaf gets $66 million. Perry has 214 goals and 239 assists for a total of 453 points in 555 career NHL games, all of which have been with the Ducks.
