Perry is not with the team in Arizona he is back skating in Anaheim. This suggests that Perry likely won’t be in the lineup tomorrow either. With Perry out, Devante Smith-Pelly is expected to skate on the first line.

The Ducks did not have a morning skate so there is no indication whether Perry will return to the lineup tonight or not. If Perry does not play, Devante Smith-Pelly should move back to the top-line. There should be an announcement when the team arrives at the rink at 6 PM ET, if not we will have to monitor his status during pre-game warmups at 7:30 PM ET.

Kuemper gave up four goals on 29 shots in the Wild’s loss to the Flyers on Tuesday. Kuemper has gone 0-3-1 with a 4.57 GAA and .846 SV% over his last four starts. It has been ugly for Kuemper, who will face a surprising Winnipeg team tonight.

Forsberg, 22, has gone 14-3-0 with a 1.75 GAA and .938 SV% in 18 games with Springfield this season. He has been recalled to backup Curtis McElhinney tonight vs. Boston.

Kuemper was pulled after he allowed three goals on 14 shots in a loss to the Predators on Saturday. He has struggled as of late, going 1-2-0 with a 3.55 GAA and .864 SV% in four starts in December.

Armia, 21, was the Sabres’ first round pick (16th overall) in the 2011 NHL Draft. He has registered 16 points (7G / 9A) in 21 games with Rochester this season. Armia is expected to make his NHL debut tonight vs. the Red Wings.

Perry will miss his ninth straight game with a knee injury. He was on the ice this morning and took part in the morning skate line rushes, but stayed on with extras which meanss he will not play tonight vs. the Sharks.

Perry took part in Ducks practice on Sunday but will be held out of his eighth consecutive game with a knee injury. With Perry missing Monday’s game, the next game he could return for would be Saturday in Arizona.

Perry was targeting a return for Monday and his availability for Sunday’s practice keeps that option open, but he skated as an extra which suggests that he likely won’t be back until after the Christmas break. The Ducks have gone 5-2-0 without Perry in the last seven games.

Michael Russo from the Minnesota Star Tribune said that Kuemper looks like he got “hit by a bus” so he must not be doing very well. He is not expected to be available on Wednesday vs. Boston.

Kuemper surrendered two goals on 30 shots in Thursday’s loss to the Sharks. Kuemper had a ridiculous start to the year, but now sits at 11-9-0 with a 2.45 GAA and .906 SV%. Tonight he draws a brutal matchup in Chicago. The Blackhawks have won nine of 10. Kuemper is 4-6-0 despite posting a 2.42 GAA and .920 SV%.

Kuemper allowed five goals on 18 shots in the Wild’s loss to the Ducks last Friday. It has been ugly for Kuemper as of late, losing two of four with a 4.41 GAA and .848 SV%. He won his first start against the Sharks, but his road record is not great—4-5-0 with a 2.46 GAA and .918 SV%.

Perry suffered the injury on Friday vs. the Wild and will be out until the end of December or early January. This is a tough break for the Ducks and Perry owners. Expect Kyle Palmieri, Devante Smith-Pelly and Rene Bourque to take on larger roles with Perry sidelined.

Perry left Friday’s game in the first period after suffering a knee injury and did not return. The Ducks confirmed this afternoon that he is out with no timetable for his return. He will be re-evaluated when the team returns to Anaheim. They have recalled Rickard Rakell from Norfolk (AHL).

Kuemper gave up four goals on 45 shots in the Wild’s 5-4 OT win over the Stars on Friday. After a superb October, Kuemper went 5-5-0 with a 2.91 GAA and .900 SV% in 10 starts in November. Tonight, he makes his second start vs. Montreal—he made 27 saves in a 4-1 loss to the Habs on November 8th.
