Wild head coach Mike Yeo said there is a very good chance that Spurgeon plays on Tuesday.

Spurgeon has missed 14 games with a broken foot, but it sounds like he will be back in tomorrow. There was talk that he may return this past Saturday but that never ended up coming together. He has one goal and 11 assists in 43 games this season.

Jared Spurgeon
Spurgeon (foot) may return for the Wild Saturday.

Spurgeon, who has missed the past 13 games with a broken foot, might return against the Flames. Spurgeon didn’t take part in a regular pairing during Friday’s practice, but the Wild made sure to get him plenty of reps. “I thought he looked really good moving the puck and showed no problems whatsoever working in the D zone,” coach Mike Yeo said. If Spurgeon returns, Keith Ballard would be the likely scratch.

Fleury starts vs. in Phoenix.

Fleury stopped all 24 shots that he faced in 3-0 shutout win over the Sabres on Monday. It was Fleury's NHL leading 29th win of the season and his fourth shutout. Tonight he will go head-to-head with Mike Smith, a goalie who was selected instead of Fleury for Team Canada. Smith has lost three of four, so Fleury is a strong start tonight.

Tarasenko is questionable tonight because of the flu.

The Blues are in Detroit tonight, but they may be without Tarasenko who is currently fighting the flu. Tarasenko hasn't scored in his last four games but has totalled 15 goals and 14 assists (29 points) in 47 games this season. Adam Cracknell will draw into the lineup if Tarasenko can't play.

Vladimir Tarasenko
Fleury starts for the Penguins, rest of the lineup is a game-time decision.

Fleury allowed three goals on 28 shots in a win over the Capitals on Wednesday. It was his fifth straight win and his league leading 27th of the year. His GAA and SV% having been taking a hit lately (3.09 / .898 over the last nine starts) but in win-only leagues he is fantasy gold. There is a good chance he moves to 6-0-0 in January when he faces the Panthers tonight, plus the Penguins could get as many as four players returning to their lineup tonight.
