The Wild selected Ohgren with the No.19 overall pick in this summer's NHL Draft. The 18-year-old winger led Djurgardens Jr (J20 SuperElit) in goals (33) and points (58) in 30 games during thee 2022 season.
Johansson broke into the NHL with the Capitals in 2011 and played with them until 2017. He returned to the team at the trade deadline last season, posting six points (3G / 3A) in 18 games. The 31-year-old will likely serve as a third-liner for them in 2022-23 but he's capable of playing in the top-6 if needed.
Spurgeon missed the last two games with an upper-body injury but will play Friday vs. the Avalanche. IN addition to Spurgeon, Matt Dumba will also play on Friday.
Foligno missed four games while in COVID-19 protocol but will replace Connor Dewar in the lineup on Tuesday. Foligno has had a career-year, setting career-bests in goals (22), assists (17) and points (39).
Spurgeon suffered an upper-body injury in Nashville on Sunday and will not play Tuesday. Despite being out tonight, the Wild were "encouraged" by where he is at, which is a good sign as they head towards the playoffs. Jordie Benn will likely draw into the lineup to replace him.
