Allard has two goals, five assists, and 30 PIMs across 35 games played with the Ontario Reign (AHL) and has been traded Friday for Nate Schnarr. The 25-year-old defenseman has previously played in one NHL game in 2020-21 with Nashville, failing to pick up a point and being a -2 plus/minus.
Originally a third-round pick by the Coyotes in the 2017 draft, Schnarr has spent the last four seasons in the AHL, making stops in Tuscon, Binghamton, and Utica before joining the Canadiens organization prior to the 2021-22 season. He registered three goals and four assists in 27 games with Laval (AHL) this season.
Simoneau has five goals, 23 assists, 39 PIMs and a -6 plus/minus through 44 games with Laval (AHL) this season and has signed a two-year, entry-level contract Wednesday. The 21-year-old was drafted in the 6th round of the 2021 draft (191 overall).

Dach has 12 goals, 23 assists, 99 SOG, 43 PIMs and a -4 plus/minus through 54 games played this season but will miss Thursday's contest vs. Carolina due to a non-covid-related illness. Rem Pitlick will replace him in the Canadiens lineup.

The 26-year-old has been reliable all season, as shown by his 11-10-2 record, 3.17 GAA and .909 SV%. He will face the Carolina Hurricanes, who have won eight of their last nine games after a 3-2 win over Washington last game.
Xhekaj suffered an undisclosed injury in Sunday's win over the Oilers and will not play Tuesday vs. Chicago. Chris Wideman will replace him on the blueline and likely on the second power-play unit.

The Canadiens have been ravaged by injuries lately and needed a forward, so Beck makes the jump from the OHL to the NHL. The 18-year-old was the No.33 overall pick in 2022 and has scored 19 goals with 25 assists (44 points) in 37 OHL games between Mississauga and Peterborough.
Carrier left the Predators' previous game vs. Winnipeg after just six shifts and 4:40 TOI due to an upper-body injury and will now miss 4-6 weeks due to an upper-body injury. The 26-year-old had two goals, six assists, 46 SOG, 25 PIMs and a -3 plus/minus through 40 games prior to the injury.
Primeau saw one period of action with the Canadiens stopping six of seven shots (.857 SV%) before being sent back down to Laval (AHL) on Wednesday. The 23-year-old heads back to the AHL where he struggled prior to his promotion, with a 4-6-3 record, 3.65 GAA and .890 SV%.
