Laine missed Wednesday's practice and is questionable to play Thursday in Buffalo. If he can't play, Carson Meyer will make his NHL debut.

Montembeault has missed the last two games with a wrist injury but will serve as Cayden Primeau's backup on Thursday and is expected to start either Saturday or Sunday.

Dvorak left Monday's game vs. the Wild after being hit by Jared Spurgeon and did not return after failing a concussion test. He was missing from Wednesday's practice and is being evaluated on a day-to-day basis.
