Guhle sustained a lacerated quadricep muscle which was surgically repaired and will be out indefinitely.

Guhle exited Montreal's 4-1 loss to the Winnipeg Jets on Tuesday after an awkward play in the third period. After further evaluations, it was deemed he had a lacerated quadricep muscle and will be out of the lineup indefinity after undergoing surgery. Before the injury, the 23-year-old Guhle was averaging 21:14 time-on-ice and had 14 points (4G / 10A) in 44 games this season.

Dobes will start vs. Minnesota on Thursday.

The Canadiens have lost three straight (0-2-1) and will turn to Dobes between the pipes on Thursday against the Minnesota Wild.
