Anderson has missed the past six games due to an upper-body injury that he suffered on October 5th. Anderson’s return will be a huge boost to the Blue Jackets’ offence, which currently sits 29th in the NHL in goals-per-game (2.25). Anderson scored 27 goals with 20 assists (47 points) in 82 games a season ago.
Dach was the No.3 overall pick this summer after collecting 73 points (25G / 48A) in 62 games with the Saskatoon Blades (WHL). Dach failed to register a point in three games with Rockford (AHL) this year but is back to 100 percent health and ready to make his NHL debut vs. Washington. There is no word on who Dach will replace or what line he will skate on.
Montembeault allowed two goals on 28 shots in the Panthers loss to the Islanders last Saturday. It was a solid first start for Montembeault, who has stopped 45 of the 48 shots (.938 SV%) that he has faced so far this season. Montembeault should be left on the bench on Saturday though. The Predators are one of the best home teams in hockey and enter play leading the NHL in goal-scoring (4.29 GF/pg).
Armia has been hot to start the season, scoring four goals with one assist in seven games but is a late-scratch this afternoon. Jordan Weal will replace him on the Canadiens fourth-line.

Price stopped all 17 shots that he faced in the Canadiens shutout win over the Wild on Thursday. It was about as easy of a shutout as you will see in the NHL and marked the first game this season that Price has allowed less than three goals. The veteran netminder has a tough afternoon matchup in St. Louis and Price comes in at 3-2-1 with a 2.79 GAA and .906 SV% in six starts.

Anderson has missed the last four games with an upper-body injury but returning to practice is a big step towards returning to the Blue Jackets’ lineup. Head coach John Tortorella did not have much of an update on Anderson but said that “he’s progressing.”
Price gave up three goals on 22 shots in the Canadiens loss to the Lightning on Tuesday. Through five starts, Price has allowed at least three goals in every game, totalling in a 3.33 GAA and .896 SV%. It’s not a good streak but a home matchup with the Wild is a good opportunity to end it. Minnesota is 1-5-0 and are averaging just 2.33 goals per game (t-26th).
Price allowed three goals on 29 shots in the Canadiens win over the Blues on Saturday. Price has surrendered at least three goals in all four of his starts this season, posting a 3.38 GAA and .901 SV% in his first four starts. Montembeault allowed one goal on 20 shots after replacing Sergei Bobrovsky in the Panthers loss to the Hurricanes on Tuesday. With Bobrovsky starting Friday in Buffalo, Montembeault will make his first start of the season on the tail-end of the back-to-back. It’s a solid matchup against an offensively challenged Islanders team, making him a reasonable spot-start option if you’re desperate.
Price gave up three goals on 33 shots in the Canadiens loss to the Red Wings on Thursday. It has been a difficult start to 2019-20 for Price, who has given up at least three goals in each one of his starts—3.51 GAA and .903 SV%. He faced the Blues twice last season, going 1-1-0 with a 3.01 GAA and .891 SV%.

Columbus announced that Anderson is day-to-day with an upper-body injury that he suffered on October 5th, but was moved to IR so they could recall Markus Hannikainen from Cleveland (AHL). Anderson had already been ruled out of Friday’s game and is eligible to come off IR whenever he is healthy.
Anderson is set to miss his second straight game with an upper-body injury. The Blue Jackets have not released any type of timeline for his return, but the fact they are updating his status on a game-to-game basis suggests that he is simply day-to-day.
Price allowed five goals on 37 shots in the Canadiens come-from-behind win in Toronto last Saturday. Price, who was given last night off, has given up eight goals on 80 shots (.900 SV%) in two starts but draws a great matchup vs. the Red Wings—Price was 2-0-0 with a 1.00 GAA and .937 SV% in two starts vs. Detroit last year.
Bowey sat as a healthy scratch in the first two games but will replace Trevor Daley (lower-body) in the lineup on Tuesday. After being acquired from the Capitals last season, Bowey had four points (1G / 3A) in 17 games with the Red Wings.
Anderson played 16:54 and 16:01 TOI in his first two games of the season but will come out of the lineup vs. Buffalo. Price was peppered in the Canadiens season opener, stopping 40 of the 43 shots he faced in their 4-3 shootout loss. It was great to see Price stand-tall but the Canadiens will need to be sharper defensively to give Price a fighting chance. Tonight he faces a lethal Maple Leafs team, that he was 0-1-2 with a 3.63 GAA and .882 SV% against last season.
