Saros stopped all 31 shots that he faced in the Predators shutout win in Edmonton on Saturday. In his first start after Pekka Rinne got hurt, Saros showcased that he is more than capable of being the Predators No.1 guy. Saros leads the NHL in wins (4) and has posted a 1.54 GAA, .945 SV% and one shutout in his first four appearances of the season.

Saros stopped all nine shots that he faced to guide the Predators to a win after replacing Pekka Rinne last night. Rinne landed on IR this afternoon, so Saros will be their No.1 netidner moving forward and comes into Saturday at 3-0-0 with a 2.23 GAA and .917 SV% in three starts.

Oesterle and Ilya Lyubushkin have been swapping in and out of the Coyotes lineup to start the season. Oesterle played just 14:05 TOI in his Coyotes debut on October 4th, so don’t expect him to carry any fatansy value on the Coyotes third pair.

Saros allowed three goals on 29 shots in the Predators win abasing the Islanders last Saturday. It was a solid start to the season for Saros, who should see close to 30 starts this season and could close in on 20 wins as the Predators No.2. Tonight he faces the Islanders who have started the year at 2-1-0 with 3.00 goals for per game.

Saros will start Saturday after watching Pekka Rinne beat the Rangers on Thursday. The Predators future No.1 netminder has been great in his young career, posting a 2.42 GAA and .923 SV% in his first 48 career games. The 23-year-old is a strong spot-start and DFS option against a thin Islanders team.

Stamkos missed the final three games of the regular season but it was mostly just to ensure he would be ready for the start of the postseason. Stamkos had another good season, picking up 86 points (27G / 59A) in 78 games and will look forward to actually being healthy for the playoffs this season.

Stamkos will miss his second straight game with a lower-body injury and won’t play on Saturday either. This isn’t surprising as the Lightning obviously want their star centre to be good-to-go for the playoffs. The plan right now is to have Stamkos practice next week ahead of the postseason.
