One of those starts came against the Red Wings, who he’ll face tonight—he stopped 20 of 21 shots in a 4-1 win in Detroit two Sunday’s ago.

Tonight he will make his 10th start of the season and seventh on home-ice, where he is 1-3-2 with a 2.47 GAA and .915 SV% this season.

It was his third straight win and seventh of the season—he finished October with a 2.46 GAA and .921 SV% in 10 starts, pretty much right where he is expected to be. He should make for a great option tonight against a Flyers team coming in on the tail-end of a back-to-back.

Markstrom allowed two goals on 29 shots in the Canucks overtime loss to the Stars on Monday. It was a tough luck loss for Markstrom who has now allowed just seven goals on the last 90 shots that he has faced (.922 SV%). Tonight he faces a Devils team that is third in the NHL in scoring so far (3.80 GF/PG).
