Markstrom allowed two goals on 34 shots in the Canucks win in San Jose on Saturday. Ryan Miller started and lost on Monday, so Vancouver will come back to Markstrom tonight vs. the Coyotes. Markstrom allowed three goals on 29 shots in a 3-2 loss in his first start vs. Arizona, but the Yotes could be without Oliver Ekman-Larsson tonight, which is a huge blow.

Allen allowed two goals on 32 shots in the Blues win in Minnesota on Sunday. Allen lost his first two starts after returning from injury, but tonight he comes into play on a three-game winning streak while posting a 2.27 GAA and .936 SV%. Tonight he’ll make his third start vs. the Blackhawks—he has gone 1-1-0 with a 2.27 GAA and .926 SV% in the first two meetings of the season.

Markstrom will start Saturday in San Jose.

Markstrom allowed three goals on 24 shots in the Canucks loss to the Islanders on Tuesday. Markstrom has lost his last three starts while posting a terrible 4.39 GAA and .857 SV%. The Canucks have had trouble in goal this season and tonight’s matchup poses problems for Markstrom. San Jose pushed three by Ryan Miller on Thursday and have won three in a row.

Allen made 40 saves on 43 shots in the Blues win in Ottawa on Tuesday. After a slow start following a knee injury, Allen has now won his last two games while stopping 72 of 77 shots (.935 SV%). Tonight he faces a Wild team that has won four in row while averaging 3.50 goals per game.

Bernier will start Saturday vs. the Senators.

Bernier allowed three goals on 23 shots in the Maple Leafs loss in Washington on Wednesday. Garret Sparks started on Thursday, but the Maple Leafs will go back to Bernier for the Battle of Ontario. Bernier only has one win since January 7th, while posting a 3.53 GAA and .885 SV% in his last 10 outings.

Markstrom starts Tuesday vs. the Islanders.

Markstrom gave up five goals on 33 shots in the Canucks loss in Calgary on February 19th. Ryan Miller started the last three games, but Markstrom will be between the pipes tonight vs. the Islanders. Markstrom has lost two in a row while allowing a combined 10 goals on 67 shots (.851 SV%). He has not faced the Islanders this season, but has gone 4-5-1 with a 2.85 GAA and .902 SV% on home ice.

Bernier will start Wednesday vs. the Capitals.

Bernier allowed four goals on 36 shots in the Maple Leafs’ loss in Montreal on Saturday. Garret Sparks started on Monday, but the Leafs will come back with Bernier tonight in Washington. Bernier was lit up for four goals on 23 shots in a 4-2 loss to the Capitals back in November and tonight they come in having won six of their last eight—Bernier is as risky as they come.

Allen allowed two goals on 34 shots in the Blues win in Carolina on Sunday. It was Allen’s first win since coming back from a knee injury and 19th of the season. Allen has gone 8-5-2 with a 2.59 GAA and .919 SV% o the road this season and tonight he faces a Senators team that has won five of their last six.

The Blues acquired Anders Nilsson who was recalled from Chicago (AHL) and will backup Allen this afternoon. Bernier starts Thursday vs. the Hurricanes.

Bernier was pulled after he allowed three goals on 13 shots in the Maple Leafs’ loss to the Flyers last Saturday. Bernier is 0-2-0 with a 4.09 GAA and .843 SV% in his last four appearances. He has struggled all year and things aren’t going to get better as the Maple Leafs approach the trade deadline and continue to dismantle their roster.

Dillon (upper-body) will miss his sixth straight game on Monday.

Dillon suffered an upper-body injury back on February 9th and will not play Monday, but could be back for Wednesday’s contest. Dillon has just six points (1G / 5A) in 52 games this season. With Dillon out and Roman Polak not expected to play, Matt Tennyson will remain in the lineup.
