The Coyotes have recalled Robbie Russo from Tucson (AHL).

Russo, 25, has registered eight assists in 13 games with Tucson this season. The former fourth-round pick has been called up because the Coyotes blueline is without Jakob Chychrun, Alex Goligoski and Jason Demers, who was injured last night. Russo has no points in 19 career NHL games (all with the Red Wings).

He continues to be leaned on heavily by coach Travis Green despite a lackluster .900 SV% on the season. He draws a difficult matchup tonight against a high-scoring Islanders team.
