Fasching (rest) will be out of the Islanders' final game of the regular season Wednesday vs. Pittsburgh.

Freshly off of clinching a ticket to the playoffs, the Islanders will rest notable players Mathew Barzal, Hudson Fasching, and Pierre Engvall in their final game of the season. The 28-year-old Fasching ends the 2023-24 campaign with 14 points (4G / 10A) in 45 games.

DeAngelo will draw into the Hurricanes lineup on Friday.

DeAngelo was one of four surprise additions to the Hurricanes' lineup on Friday as Jordan Staal, Jalen Chatfield, Brett Pesce, and Teuvo Teravainen are all out with undisclosed injuries. Jesperi Kotkaniemi, Brendan Lemieux, and Scott Morrow will also draw into the lineup.
