Hogberg is expected to start Thursday vs. the Avalanche.

Hogberg allowed two goals on 28 shots in the Senators shootout loss to the Ducks on Tuesday. Hogberg has been to extra time in five of his last seven starts, going 1-1-5 with a 2.47 GAA and .926 SV%. He's played great but has a tough matchup tonight with the Avalanche in town-they've won four of their last five while outscoring the opposition 24-to-13 (4.80 GF/gm).

Thomas Greiss has started the last three games but it looks like they'll go with Varlamov tonight vs. the Stars. Varlamov has lost his last four starts (0-3-1) while posting a 4.44 GAA and .864 SV%. Dallas comes into Tuesday having won six of their last eight road games (6-2-0) while averaging 2.63 goals for and 2.38 goals against per game.

Rittich allowed six goals on 28 shots in the Flames loss to the Oilers. He was pulled and then reinserted after Cam Talbot was tossed for fighting but the end result was Rittich's worst outing of the season. He'll look to get back in the win column against the Sharks, who have lost five of their last six while scoring just 1.67 goals per game.

Varlamov allowed five goals on 29 shots in the Islanders' loss to the Capitals on January 18th. Thomas Greiss has started the last three games but it looks like they'll go with Varlamov tonight vs. the Stars. Varlamov has lost his last four starts (0-3-1) while posting a 4.44 GAA and .864 SV%. Dallas comes into Tuesday having won six of their last eight road games (6-2-0) while averaging 2.63 goals for and 2.38 goals against per game.

Rittich will start Saturday vs. the Oilers.

Rittich stopped 31 of 34 shots in the Flames shootout win in Edmonton on Wednesday. He'll get the nod again tonight in another instalment of the Battle of Alberta. He's 9-4-3 with a 2.74 GAA and .909 SV% on home-ice this year and is 2-0 while stopping 59 of 63 shots (.937 SV%) in two games against the Oilers this year.

Hogberg has been super busy in his last two games, facing a combined 96 shots, stopping 90 of them for a .947 SV%. He'll likely have his hands full again on Friday with a red-hot Alex Ovechkin and the Capitals in town.

Rittich gave up four goals on 20 shots in the Flames loss in Ottawa on January 18th. Rittich has been inconsistent since the Christmas break, going 3-4-0 with a 3.05 GAA and .903 SV% in seven starts. Rittich has gone 3-2-1 with a 2.04 GAA and .928 SV% in six career starts against their Alberta rivals.

Drouin has been out since mid-November after undergoing wrist surgery on November 18th. Drouin practiced for the second straight day on Wednesday but will need a few more skates before returning to the lineup. Monitor his status heading into their back-to-back on Saturday/Sunday.

Rittich allowed one goal on 36 shots in the Flames shootout win in Toronto on Thursday. Rittich has been terrific in his last two outings, stopping 70 of the 73 shots (.959 SV%) that he has faced. He stopped 26 of 27 shots in a winning effort in his first start vs. Ottawa and is 10-7-2 with a 2.73 GAA and .918 SV% on the road this year.

This afternoon he faces the Capitals for the third time this season--he is 1-1-0 with a 2.52 GAA and .925 SV% in the first two meetings.

Schneider allowed three goals on 23 shots after replacing Louis Domingue in the Devils loss in Washington on Thursday. Since coming up from the AHL, he's made two relief appearances, stopping 33 of the 37 shots (.892 SV%) that he has faced. Tonight he makes his first NHL start since November 8th and comes in at 0-5-1 with a 4.42 GAA and .859 SV% on the year.
