Formenton was a second-round pick in 2017 and scored one goal in nine games with the Senators to open the season. Formenton returns to London, where he had 29 goals and 19 assists (48 points) in 48 games last season.
Ullmark stopped 19 of 20 shots in the Sabres road win in Los Angeles last Saturday. Ullmark could work his way into more starts if he continues to play as well as he has through two games. Ullmark comes into Saturday at 2-0-0 while stopping 55 of the 56 shots (.982 SV%) that he has faced this year.
Ullmark stopped all 36 shots that he faced in the Sabres win in Arizona last Saturday. It was a great season debut for Ullmark, who will make his second start this afternoon in Los Angeles. The Kings are expected to get Anze Kopitar back, but still rank 28th in the NHL in scoring (2.00 GF/PG).
Ullmark will make his first start of the season after going 1-2-0 with a 2.00 GAA and .935 SV% in five games with the Sabres last year. Ullmark has shown the ability to be a quality spot-start option in the past and he draws a worthwhile matchup tonight in Arizona.
Formenton left Wednesday’s loss to the Flyers with what was originally described as an upper-body injury. The Senators confirmed on Friday that Formenton sustained a concussion and will head to injured reserve. There is no timetable for his return, but he will miss at least one week.
Tkachuk missed the first two games of the season with a mild groin injury, but will be on the Senators first-line with Matt Duchene and Ryan Dzingel this afternoon. This summer’s No.4 overall pick had 31 points (8G / 23A) in 40 games at Boston University last year.

Perron was originally drafted by the Blues and played for them from 2008-to-2013 and against in 2017. The 30-year-old returns to St. Louis after one year in Vegas, where he posted career-highs in assists (50) and points (66). Perron will find himself back in the Blues’ top-6, where he will likely play alongside Ryan O’Reilly.
The brother of Flames’ winger Matthew Tkachuk, Brady had eight goals and 23 assists (31 points) at Boston University this season. Tkachuk elevated his stock during a great World Juniors tournament, where he had nine points (3G / 6A) in seven games. Like his dad Keith, Brady is a big-bodied forward with a great size/skill combo. He will have a chance to make the NHL this fall.
Perron was a healthy scratch for Game 4, but it looks like he will replace Ryan Carpenter on the Golden Knights’ third line. Perron is still searching for his first playoff goal since April 23rd, 2016—a span of 27 games—but he has eight assists in 14 games this postseason.
