Letang has missed the Penguins last five games with a broken toe. He was leading all NHL defenseman in points before he got hurt with 28 points in 28 games. Make sure to get him back in your lineup.
Karlsson was injured in a Feb. 13 game against the Pittsburgh Penguins when his left Achilles was cut by Matt Cooke’s left skate. He had surgery to repair the tendon the next day. He has been skating for 30-40 minutes daily at the Bell Sensplex, fueling speculation he may return this season.
Letang returned to practice yesterday, but remains out with a broken toe.
Karlsson skated yesterday for the firs time since getting his achilles sliced. He is still likely to miss the rest of the regular season, but you never know. This is an incredible recovery and he should at least be back for a Senators playoff run. If you have an empty roster spot, why not stash him and hope he returns in time for you to be in the Fantasy Finals.
Letang is on the ice with his teammates right now but is taking line-rushes on the 4th D-pairing, which would suggest he won't play tonight. Coach Bylsma will likely give an update on Letang following practice.
Monitor his status later this week when a definitive timetable for his return should be released.
Karlsson is still not expected to be back in the regular season, but the Senators could certainly use him in the playoffs. This is a great sign for Ottawa fans.

Crosby took a puck to the mouth in his first shift of yesterday's game. A more detailed evaluation will likely be released tomorrow. Monitor his status.
Crosby was hit in the mouth with a slapshot this afternoon and did not return. He was brought to the hospital during the game. It sounds like he will just need dental work and no other injury was sustained. There should be more information on his injury tomorrow or Monday.
Crosby was hit in the mouth by a slapshot in his first shift of the game. He was bleeding from the mouth but made it to the dressing room under his own power. He will not return to the game which is obviously not positive news for Crosby's fantasy owners or the Penguins. Crosby has a history of concussion problems so any blow to the head has to make you worry. We will update you as soon as we hear something.
Malkin has missed the Penguins last nine games with a shoulder injury. He will return to the lineup and assume his spot on the Pens second line alongside James Neal and Brenden Morrow. The Pens also acquired Jarome Iginla last night and he is expected to play with Malkin and Neal, that sounds like a scary line. Get Malkin in your lineups.
